Alec Dampies Retirement

Jul 5, 2019 | News

Dear Members

Alec Dampies, whose friendly face at the Reserve entrance kiosk you all know, is retiring at the end of July after 27 years of service to the City and the Helderberg Nature Reserve in particular.
A short stop and chat with Alec as you enter has become an integral part of one’s visit to the Reserve.
The committee of the Friends of the Helderberg Nature Reserve would like to acknowledge Alec’s dedicated service and ask members to make a contribution towards a farewell gift should they wish to do so.
This can be done at the Visitor Centre or by EFT into our ABSA Bank account no: 4051 665 095, using ‘ALEC’ as the reference.
We would ask that all contributions be made before the 15th July 2019.
